November 29th Service

Today is the first Sunday in Advent.  Like most of this year today looks a bit different.  We will not be meeting in person for worship today or next Sunday due to the Covid-19 increases in or area.  However, we will continue to post here the sermon and musical selections.  You will find the Sunday School lesson posted on the church Facebook page and in Nancy’s e-mail along with the bulletin.  If you would like to receive a print copy please let Nancy know.

Even though this year looks different the Advent season has arrived.  Advent is a time of preparation.  If we haven’t yet we will begin to prepare our homes with decorations and prepare gifts for loved ones.  That is wonderful and can certainly bring joy during this dark time, but Advent is even more than that.  Advent is a time for us to prepare our hearts and minds to once again welcome Christ into the world.  The world needs Christ now more than ever so let us prepare ourselves for the coming of our Lord.

You will find this week’s sermon by clicking here.

Thanks once again to our friends for sharing their musical talents with us.  You may listen to a musical selection by Dave Caudill and Chip Houston by clicking  here.

Blessings,

Rev. Melissa
