We will hear a familiar miracle story today in our gospel lectionary reading.  Sometimes when we hear familiar stories our minds skip right to the end.  For instance if I say the miracle of walking on water we probably immediately think of Peter stepping out of the boat, but then we have skipped past the miracle of Jesus walking on the stormy sea to get to the disciples in their time of need.
