We have almost finished our Lenten journey. Soon we will be singing Hosannas and then Alleluias, but may we never forget the lonesome valley that Jesus walked for us.

Thank you for remembering St. Patrick today in your sermon. I am 1/4 Irish. I am from the North. All my children have Irish names. Mine is sorta Irish, but being named after St. Patrick (feminine form) it really is Italian, or Roman but the Celts still claim me and baptized Patrick’s name as their own. I have planted peas on this day since I was a kid. Today after worship, I’ll do it again.
