As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach we are about to enter the season of giving.  It is a time for us to think about all we have been given by God and a time when we are a little more inclined to give to others.  In our lectionary reading today we meet the widow who gave all she had to God as Jesus compares her to those religious leaders who wear long robes and pray longer prayers for their own gain.
