October 4th Sermon

Blessings to you on this World Communion Sunday. Today we celebrate the fact that Christians around the world come to Christ’s table and celebrate the meal which He instituted. In the breaking of the bread and the cup which has been poured out we celebrate that we are one in Christ. We give thanks, but it reminds us yet again that this year is a difficult year since we all can not be present to join around the church table. Remember that Jesus said “every time you do this do this in remembrance of me.”  Christ is with us even when we are not together.  Stay safe and have a blessed week.

Blessings,

Rev. Melissa
