Greetings to you on this the first Sunday in the season of Christmas or Christmastide.  Christmas day has come and now we celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, from Christmas day until Epiphany when we celebrate the wisemen visiting baby Jesus.  Today, we meet the infant Jesus as He is taken to the temple and is greeted with praise and joy.  May we continue to celebrate the birth of Christ our King and hold on to the joy and hope which His birth brought to the world.
