“This is the day that the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it.”  The words of the Psalms seem to speak to our heart.  The Psalms are songs of praise, thanksgiving, and lament.  We will hear today a Psalm praising God for who God is and how God has been and continues to be at work in the world.  There are many days when our hearts are heavy and songs of praise may be hard to muster, but even on the darkest of days let us remember we have much to be thankful for.
