Blessings to you on this the Lord’s Day.  We hear today a familiar passage of encouragement from the book of Isaiah.  During these seemingly endless days of the pandemic when we grow weary hear God’s words of encouragement from Isaiah chapter 40.   

“Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,

    they shall mount up with wings like eagles,

they shall run and not be weary,

    they shall walk and not faint.”
