Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord.  We find ourselves well on our way down the road of Lent on this the second Sunday of Lent.  This week we again hear the Old Testament reading which is about one of God’s covenants with humanity.  We meet Abraham today as he has been given a new name and a blessing.
