Happy Independence Day!  We give thanks to God today for the many blessings of our great nation and pray that our nation will always seek God’s justice and righteousness.

Our lectionary epistle reading comes from Paul’s letter to the Corinthians today.  Paul tell us not to boast in our power, but in our weakness.
