We celebrate the Transfiguration of the Lord today.  Transfiguration of the Lord Sunday is the holy day where we celebrate that Jesus went up the mountain and was transfigured or his countenance changed. This holy day is always celebrated the Sunday before the beginning of Lent.  

Lent begins this Wednesday and you are invited to join us for a brief Ash Wednesday service on February 22nd at 11 AM in the sanctuary.
