Today we will hear one of Jesus’ parables. Most of the time we hear this story called the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard or Field. However, it may be more aptly titled the Parable of the Gracious Landowner. Listen as we hear how the Kingdom of Heaven turns everything upside down.

Had never thought about the landowner being the one who went back checking out who was not hired. That certainly is something to think about. As it happens, I’m in a similar situation right now where I don’t understand how the “landowner” thinks what he’s doing is in any way, fair. But then, this landowner doesn’t think being fair is important. Making money is important. Thanks for another great start to Sunday.
