It is the start of a new month, but we still find ourselves in the midst of a pandemic and in need of a miracle.

Nancy shared these stats about Mississippi in her weekly church e-mail yesterday.   As of 8-1, MS Dept. of Health reports of the 59,881 COVID-19 cases 35,071 of which are presumed to have recovered,  Desoto Co. has 3,215 known cases with 27 deaths.  Marshall Co. has 8 deaths among 556 cases.  We must not let our guard down to stay safe and protect others.

We pray for a cure, for the health and safety of all, and for a miracle! Today in our lectionary reading we will hear the account of the miracle feeding of the 5,000.  In faith we look for ways in which God is miraculously at work in our lives today.
